Education. Farming. Child Sponsorship.
Education. Farming. Child Sponsorship.
Our Country Directors, Bosco and Nancy Mukholi are the Directors of our local school, LWANDA. This school is intentionally established in the heart of rural Manafwa which allows some 500+ children of the surrounding rural region to have an on-going education and a chance at a bright future, whilst the area continues to endure crop shortages and economic instability.
As you can imagine, with famine, wars, economic upheaval, education is not often a luxury that is afforded to the children of Eastern Uganda. Education is freedom in this part of the world and we built a school to ensure just that!
Given's efforts are 3-fold in Uganda...
ONE: Continue construction of our school, Lawanda. We have acquired over 8 acres of land with crops and sustainable measures for the village to both grow and distribute food to the region. We have 5 buildings/classrooms complete, 3 full-time teachers, 8 part-time teachers/volunteers and over 500 children. So more needs to be done!
TWO: We have a new well! This was something so fundamental to the health and longevity of this area and all our kids and families. That said, growth demands resources and thus, we will need an additional wells to support the growing school numbers and increasing village demands.
THREE: Over 6 years ago we launched our Class Sponsorship Program for each of our bases with Uganda having the largest opportunity with over 500 children in several classrooms needing supplies and basic neccesities. $30/month goes towards school uniforms, class fees (yes, we are accredited in Uganda), books, meals and access to medical supplies to children in need (malaria meds, etc).

Stacey Hanburry, a Professional Children's Counselor with a specialized UK accreditation, works as the Children's Director at a Journey Community Church in Antrim, Northern Ireland.
Antrim is the stuff of Irish legend, boasting World Heritage sites in the famous Giant's Causeway and the breathtaking Glens of Antrim and Glendun. It is here, nestled between the Celtic Sea and Lough Neagh that Stacey has chosen to change the lives of children forever.
As the church’s children's director, Stacey utilizes Therapeutic Play as a form of restorative therapy for children of all backgrounds. She is helping children in the hopes to see them healed, healthy and with full hearts to go become the world-changers they truly are.
PRAYER is the most important part of this Stacey’s support team

Hi! We’re the Dalbeys!
Ryan, Michaela, Vera and Ezra. We feel the lord has invited our family to be a part of what He is doing in South Africa! We believe South Africa holds a key to world revival and he is asking us to partner with him, not just with what He wants us to “do” but who he want us to “be” for the people of Nelspruit, ZA.
Our plan is to go and “scout the land” in July and August 2023 with the vision, prayer and desire to serve Jesus there long term. We want to go low and slow and stop for the one, be his hands and feet, and see what it is he has for us there as there is so much need from kids in garbage dumps to women in the sex trade industry. We want to see Jesus get His full reward with his South African Bride. She will be radiant at the wedding feast of the Lamb!!
PRAYER for the Dalbey family to follow Jesus in all they do.
GIVING a monthly donation towards the Dalbey’s ministry and living expenses is much appreciated.
